Todd is the managing partner for Green CPA, PLLC. Todd returned to Lake City in 2018 to assist in managing the growth of the firm. He plans to use his extensive business experience to consult with business clients large and small and give them a step up to succeed. His first priority is always the betterment of the client.
Todd is a graduate of University of Nebraska at Kearney (f/k/a Kearney State College). He passed the CPA exam in May of 1989. He was a partner in Green & Associates, CPA and then owner of Green Associates, PC for a total of 9 years until the fall of 1997. During that time, he helped many clients in Calhoun County and around the country make decisions on their taxes and businesses to better their financial position.
In 1997 he left the firm and was employed as the Controller for Knight Rifles in Centerville, IA, CFO for PRADCO Outdoor Brands in Ft Smith, AR, Executive VP for OFFWIRE in Omaha, VP of Sales for Wrapsol and Trident Cases and COO and Chief Real Estate Officer for Homebuyers in Omaha. Industries represented in his private career include outdoor sporting goods manufacture, mobile phone accessories distribution, international importation and logistics and sales and real estate rehab and sales. In several of these positions he managed finance, HR and IT functions of the respective companies.
Todd is married to Teresa Green, the senior accountant for Green CPA, PLLC and they reside in Lake City, IA with their two dogs, Crosby and Kopitar. Crosby and Kopitar can be found most days wandering the halls at the office, stop in and say hi.

Tami is semi-retired, but still works at Green CPA part-time and Tax Seasons. She has been a CPA for over 30 years. In 1988 Tami and Todd started Green & Associates, CPA. In 1993 Tami branched out to become an American Express Financial Advisor, until 2002. Since that point she has been growing her tax and accounting business.
Tami is married to Jeff Schwering and they live in Lake City, Iowa. She enjoys travel, reading and DIY projects.

Teresa is a non-CPA owner of Green CPA, PLLC. She is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the firm and also preparing financial reports and payroll for all our monthly clients. She enjoys spending quiet time at home with the pups and traveling with Todd.

Mikayla is the Receptionist/Administrative Assistant for Green CPA, PPLC. She is responsible for administrative day-to-day tasks and can help you get your questions answered by leading you in the right direction. Mikayla is currently furthering her education in accounting and looks forward to pursuing this field further in the future. She spends most of her free time during the warmer months at the golf course and binge watching her favorite tv series on the couch in the colder months.
